Cookie and similar technology policy
Updated 29 October 2026
BROTHERS CONCEPT CORPORATION S.R.L.
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on the Brothers Concept Corporation website (the “Website”), operated by BROTHERS CONCEPT CORPORATION S.R.L. Contact office@brothersconceptcorporation.com with questions. Company identification details are available under “Company details”.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES AND DEVICE IDENTIFIERS
1.1 What is a cookie?
An internet cookie, also called a browser cookie or HTTP cookie, is a small amount of information that a website may store in the browser of a computer, phone, tablet or other internet-connected device.
Cookies can be exchanged between browser and server to retain information such as session status or preferences. They are not executable programs and do not, by themselves, allow arbitrary reading of files on your device.
Some cookies and identifiers may constitute personal data or be associated with an individual. We do not assume that they are anonymous merely because they do not contain a name.
1.2 Other storage technologies
Websites may also use browser storage mechanisms such as sessionStorage or localStorage. These differ from HTTP cookies but may store information on your device and are covered by this policy where relevant.
The Website application uses sessionStorage for accessibility preferences. It does not use localStorage to retain preferences or form messages. It does not use advertising identifiers or create advertising profiles.
2. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?
The following categories explain how cookies are classified. Their description does not mean that the Website uses every category; actual use is explained in section 3.
2.1 Cookies by duration
a) Session cookies
These are used during a browsing session. Their actual duration depends on the mechanism and the browser's handling of session closure and restoration.
b) Persistent cookies
These may remain on a device until expiry or deletion. Being persistent does not automatically make a cookie an advertising or third-party cookie. The Website application does not set persistent cookies for analytics or marketing.
2.2 Cookies by purpose
a) Strictly necessary cookies
These are necessary for transmitting a communication or providing a function expressly requested by a user, under applicable law. Classification depends on the actual function, not merely the cookie's label.
b) Functional cookies
These may remember choices to adapt display or functions. On this Website, accessibility preferences use sessionStorage as described in section 3.2, rather than an HTTP preference cookie.
c) Performance and analytics cookies
These may measure visits, traffic sources and page interactions. The Website currently uses no such cookies or traffic analytics tools.
d) Advertising cookies
These may select advertisements, measure campaigns or create interest profiles. The Website does not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
2.3 First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are associated with the visited domain. Third-party cookies are associated with another domain, for example when an external service is embedded. Origin is a separate classification from duration and purpose.
The Website application does not embed social feeds, advertising banners or third-party analytics. External links are explained in section 3.6. Any technical access mechanisms used by the infrastructure delivering the Website are not used by the Company for advertising.
2.4 How do targeting and advertising cookies work?
Such technologies may correlate browsing activity and select advertisements based on interests. Their identifiers are not necessarily anonymous.
This does not apply to our Website: we do not use targeting cookies, advertising profiling or behaviour-based advertising.
3. WHICH COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES DO WE USE?
The application does not set its own HTTP cookies for analytics, advertising or language preferences. Romanian or English is determined by the accessed page address. The application's preference storage is described below.
3.1 Necessary cookies
The application has no user accounts, shopping basket, wish list or online payments, and therefore sets no cookies for these functions.
The page-delivery infrastructure may process technical information needed for access and security. Server logs differ from cookies and are not described as cookies in the table. Personal data processing is covered by the Privacy Policy.
3.2 Accessibility functions and preferences
The Website stores display settings in sessionStorage under brothers-accessibility: text size, contrast, simpler font, spacing, link underlining and reduced motion. Default values are also stored when the function is initialised.
Settings are used in the page session and are not sent by the application to the Company. The session can continue when a page is reloaded, and restoring tabs may restore session data depending on the browser.
You can restore defaults in the “Accessibility” panel or “Cookie preferences”. Reset replaces preferences with default values; it does not delete other services' cookies or clear all browser data.
3.3 Performance and analytics cookies
We currently use no performance or analytics cookies. We do not use such tools to measure individual visits, traffic sources or interactions for audience reports. We do not use heatmaps, session recordings or visitor-tracking A/B tests.
Technical information processed for page delivery and security is not described as anonymous analytics data and is addressed separately in the Privacy Policy.
3.4 Google Analytics
The Website does not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Their associated analytics cookies are not installed by the application.
Using Google Workspace for Company email does not mean using Google Analytics on the Website. Correspondence processing is explained in the Privacy Policy.
3.5 Storage technology and relevant function inventory
The form currently does not send enquiries or load an external anti-spam service. For projects and cooperation, contact office@brothersconceptcorporation.com directly.
3.6 Social plugins and other external services
The Website links to LinkedIn but does not embed automatically loaded LinkedIn feeds, tracking buttons or plugins. Following a link takes you to an external service, which applies its own cookie and privacy policies.
No external maps or third-party video players are embedded. Read aloud uses the browser or device function and starts when the user activates it. Some voices may process text through online services provided by the browser or device vendor. The Website does not request microphone access or record your voice. See the “Accessibility” panel and Privacy Policy for details.
4. HOW CAN I DISABLE COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE?
Browser settings allow you to inspect, delete or restrict cookies and website data. Blocking browser storage may prevent accessibility preferences being retained between pages or on reload.
“Cookie preferences” in the Website footer lets you review the functions and reset local accessibility preferences. Use browser settings to clear Website data generally from the device.
No optional analytics or marketing categories are currently activated, and there is no consent for such categories to withdraw. Simply browsing is not treated as acceptance of optional cookies.
5. USEFUL LINKS
For explanations of cookies and browser storage, see:
- Google Chrome — deleting, allowing and managing cookies.
- Microsoft Edge — managing cookies and website data.
- MDN — sessionStorage.
These pages are operated by third parties and have their own privacy policies.
6. BROWSER COOKIE CONTROLS
Instructions may vary with browser version and device. Consult the official guides:
Autofill and session restoration are managed separately by the browser. Deleting cookies does not necessarily delete autofill information or files downloaded to the device.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We update this policy to reflect changes in Website functions, technologies or legal requirements. The updated version and its date are published here. Please consult this page periodically.
If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, they will be described in the notice and activated only after the choice required by law. Users will be able to change that choice afterwards. Updating this policy does not, by itself, constitute consent.
